Fort Lauderdale Hotels

Choices for Fort Lauderdale Hotels easily extend beyond the immediate airport area as traffic concerns are not as restrictive as they might be in Miami, for example.
Fort Lauderdale Beach Hotels,
Hollywood Beach Hotels, and
Downtown Fort Lauderdale Hotels
are all within easy travel distance with alternate routes if the main roadway should become blocked. Some wait time for bridge openings is considered normal, allow for it.
The Fort Lauderdale and Hollywood beach hotels are usually booked far ahead of the college spring break crowd, but if you enjoy the youthful enthusiasm there is always a fair chance that some kids will have had to cancel their reservations. Worth a try. Christmas is the other busy season. All seasons are well worth the experience.
All Fort Lauderdale beaches are awesome. For an active beach hangout, though, the Hollywood beach boardwalk area is especially charming.
For a more genteel environment, downtown Fort Lauderdale offers a very comfortable and scenic evening promenade along Las Olas Boulevard and the New River riverwalk with cafe’s, clubs, bars, restaurants, an IMax theater with an 80-foot x 60-foot projection screen, the Broward Center for Performing Arts, and the Museum of Discovery and Science.
Catch a water taxi to enjoy more watering holes plus bonus views of the manicured mansions and fabulous yachts of the river and canals. Especially delightful during the Christmas holidays.
Hotels offer the usual free shuttle service if needed: confirm ahead.
